Hi, I’m Melissa—mum of five, lifelong food-lover, and the hands behind Mealy.

Mealy started in the chaos of weekday mornings and dinner-table battles—when I realised I wasn’t the only parent trying to juggle work, school, and the constant question: “What’s for lunch?” or worse—“What’s for dinner?”

So I built Mealy from the ground up (literally—we converted the bottom floor of our home into a dedicated commercial kitchen). It’s where I spend my days measuring, mixing, taste-testing, and occasionally hiding from the laundry pile upstairs.

My food is made for real families. Families like mine, where kids have opinions and allergies, and time is always tight. I follow strict food safety standards, source everything with care, and only make what I’d happily feed my own children.

Mealy isn’t about fancy plating or viral recipes. It’s about practical, honest, good food—wrapped up and ready when you need it most.
